Waterfalls, Cliff Diving and Tacos!!!

So Meygen and I had the ultimate Mayan Adventure last night. . . we went to Mayan Adventure!  It's this really cool place that was built by the Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller.  From the front, you might think that this place is just some regular restaurant with pimple covered teens with headgear taking your order and creepy guys walking around in loin cloths screaming "Hatcha hatch fukutacha!"  But oh no, you're wrong, all of our waiters were great.  You see the "Mayan" as we like to call it is not only a restaurant, but a theatrical experience.  Every 20 minutes or so, you can look through the indoor rain forest, to the top of the indoor waterfall, and see the Mayan chieftain telling some of the villagers to dive off the cliff, and they do!  they dive off a 40-50 foot waterfall and amazingly land in the small kiddie pool at the bottom!  It's amazing!  The best part is that you get to watch all of this while eating some of the best Mexican food you'll ever have.  This was Meygen's first time there, so she was pretty excited to go as you can see in the pictures.

The Grand Entrance
Meygen getting eaten by a mean ol' statue
The Mayan Chieftain "Huchi huchi matcha tatcha du!"
Could this be the cave of wonders?
Another pic of the cliffside and the kiddie pool they dive into.
So Awesome!

A Very Special Tribute To a Very Special Car.

That's right!  You heard!  The new and improved, re-designed and built to last Chevrolet Camaro!!!!!!!!!!!!  *Cheering*  Ever since I was young I have had a love for this car!  Since its creation in 1966 this car has been a personal driving companion for so many.  Sadly, in 2001, the last of the Camaro was thought to be seen.  But in 2006, the announcement of the new and improved Chevy would spark hope and dreams into the hearts of men across the United States. I grew to love this car because of my Father and the fact that he owned two '69 Camaros yet sold them to serve the Lord.  I guess that's why I have grown to love this car, because my Dad did, and I've always wanted to be like him.  Thanks Dad!
The new front grille, styled after the '69 version
The strong lines that make this car awsome
Shiny!

CARS CARS CARS CARS CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the VW that looks like a Mercedes, to the smallest most ridiculous car that's ever been made, we saw it all last night, because it was the Annual International Auto Expo!!!!!!!!!!!  YAY!!!!  This is seriously one of the highlights of my year.  I mean, what can I say, I love cars.  Except for the Smart car, I must say, this car disgusts me more than Mimi from the Drew Carry show.  But I sat in it anyway, and you can tell how excited I was when I got in.  I think Meygen caught the right emotion in the photo below.   Anywhoooo... we had a lot of fun, and we have a pretty good idea of what we would get if we needed to purchase a new vehicle (thank you Honda for re-styling your Pilot).  And thank you Meygen who actually enjoyed the trip as much as I did!
The Smart car... ppppfffffftttttt!
The New Nissan 350Z... mmmmmm!!!!
The new Nissan GTR that goes from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds... vrooommm!
GTR again
And again
The newly styled Audi TT.... Raawwwr!!
The Audi R8 Aaaahhhh!!! *not screaming- it's the awe of angels*
You'd never guess, but this is the new VW CC!!   It looks just like a Mercedes when you look at it in person.  I saw it and thought "Why the crap did they put a mercedes in the middle of nowhere?"  Simply put, it was love at first sight... *sigh*

P.S. I love my wife more. . . Promise.
