More Birthday...

July 10, 2011 -

So this year I turned 26.... I know I'm old. I seriously don't know where the time is going I don't feel like I have been around for this long but I guess now that I am about to be the Mother of two I can officially say that I'm not a kid anymore!  My poor husband was kind enough to let me stay in San Diego on my birthday... but I did miss him terribly, but it was nice to spend my birthday with friends and family I haven't seen in forever. Like Autumn's family, they live in Hawaii and if I'm lucky I get to see them once a year. But I was so excited to hear that they were visiting the same time I was and even better I got to see them on my birthday!

Me with my TWO birthday cakes....
I mean it's silly to let a hungry pregnant woman go to Costco to pick out her cake!
I came out with two... one for me and one for the baby!

Autumns husband Mike and little Jack. Rowynne and Jack are only a few months apart.

Marley waiting patiently for a big piece of cake!

Blowing out the candles.... My grandma actually put 26 on the cakes!

My own personal piece..... LOL

Meygen, Rowynne, Autumn and Jack

Friends Forever... No matter how far away they are!
PS. We are both pregnant in this picture. Autumn is a few months behind me.

We thought that Jack was trying to give Rowynne some loves....

But what he really wanted was her frosting covered for. Rowynne wasn't too pleased!

Autumn and her kids Gabe and Kia.
Oh and Marley eating her cake... she couldn't be bothered to smile for the camera

The girls showing us their blue tongues from the frosting! Yummy!

Mean Auntie Gillian put frosting on Rowynne's nose!
She doesn't look to thrilled about it...

Don't worry Rowynne Marley has come to the rescue.... She wants to lick it off!

Overall it was a good 26th Birthday... Hope the next one is just like it!

Happy 26th Birthday Meygen!

Happy Birthday to Meygen

July 10, 2011 -

While we were in San Diego it just so happened to be my birthday....
So in continuing the "White Family" tradition of Birthday Cereal, I got Captain Crunch!

My Big Birthday Ballon and Birthday Cereal
Never gets old.... Even at 26!

 Happy Birthday Mom......

But stay away from my Captain Crunch!

The Beach

July 9, 2011 -
We of course had to make our way to the beach, what's a trip to San Diego without a trip to the beach. Rowynne has been to the beach before but this is the first time that she was big enough to play in the sand by herself. Needless to say she had a blast... I knew she would. Rowynne loved playing in the sand we made sand castles and she would knock them down. We even buried Marley in the sand!

Playing in the sand... she kept pushing the sand around with her feet

I just love this picture.... she is like a model baby!

Mommy..... What a beautiful view

 Rowynne and Mommy

She even wasn't afraid of the water... however still a little too cold for Mommy to get all the way in.

We buried Marley's legs in the sand, she kept digging them out while Rowynne watched in awe!

Got her first taste of sand.... her face says it all!

Marley enjoying her sand bath!

This is a clip of Nana pulling Rowynne around on the surf board. Marley was too afraid to do it but Rowynne jumped right on even after flipping over a few times into some on coming waves.  She had a blast at the beach, we will definitely be going again!

Twins

July 8, 2011 -

Sometimes the way we treat these two you would think they are sisters.....  Matching Jammies!

Twins... well sort of!
 Matching Jammies sure are fun!

Nana cooked them teddy bear pancakes for breakfast.... Good to be home!

Bathing Beauties

July 8, 2011 -
You know I have to have a least one post of these two in the tub... they are just too cute to pass up! Rowynne and Marley had a silly hair contest in the tub.... I think Rowynne needs a little more hair before she can really become a contender in this race!

Rub a Dub Dub.... Two Cutie's in the Tub!

Marley -  2 1/2 Years Old

Rowynne - 14 Months

Playing Dress Up

July 7, 2011 -

After only being home in San Diego for more than a few hours the girls were back to playing like they had never been apart. I'm so glad that Rowynne has such a fun cousin Marley, I only wish she was closer so they could play like this all the time. The girls love to play together and dress up was no exception. This is really Rowynne's first experience with dress up, the past few times we have visited she has been to small and we really don't have any back home. So Marley shared... (however at first a little unwillingly)... all her princess shoes, tiaras and dresses with Rowynne. They both looked so cute and Rowynne was getting really into it. She kept trying all the different Princess shoes... she would take one off then put the next back on, with a little help from Auntie Gillian!

Rowynne all dressed up including shoes and her tiara

Rowynne admiring her shoes... these ones had Belle on them

Rowynne couldn't really walk in her Princess shoes but it sure was fun to watch her try.

The Airport

July 7, 2011 -

Because I have the best husband in the world... he didn't mind that Rowynne and I took off for a couple of weeks and flew down to see my family in San Diego. I knew it was probably going to be the last time that I would get a chance to see them for some time so I decided to leave the hubby at home and spend some time with my family. Cory would have loved to come but with starting a new job and all he wasn't able to take the time off. So Rowynne and I packed up our stuff and headed to the Airport. Rowynne has been on a plane before but back then she was only a few months old... so this was the first plane ride that Rowynne was big enough to cause me worry for the flight!

But she did great! She did take a major poop half way through the flight, thank goodness its only a couple hours long. So I say sorry to all those around me who had to smell her.... but other than that she was an angel baby. Not saying that it was easy... because believe me it wasn't. However she didn't really fuss and I was able to keep her occupied with my tons of goodies I brought to keep her busy. A nice old lady even commented that she couldn't believe how good she was on the plane.... SMILE!

Rowynne wearing her cool backpack leash... Yes thats right I made her wear a leash.
It was scary to me to do it all alone, I didn't want her running off in the big Airport.

Rowynne loved watching the planes go by....

My big girl.... She is 14 Months Old!

We made it to San Diego it one piece! But next time I would really like it if Cory came along!
