Finally! A Car That Works!

So, we've been looking for a new car for quite some time because we're not sure how long Meygen's Grand Cherokee is going to last.  We'd surf ksl.com every week checking what was in our price range and nothing really caught our eye until last week when we found this beauty!  Yes, it's another Jeep.  We . . . well I have fallen in love with Jeeps since driving the Grand Cherokee and just couldn't think about being without a car with a bit of muscle.  

For those of you who wouldn't care to hear everything awesome about this car, you may as well skip this paragraph: It's an '07 Patriot with a 2.4 4 cylinder engine (you may think "pansy," but you'd be suprised), with a CVT transmission (check it out on youtube) which means it doesn't have gears but that it has one steel belt that moves at variable speeds based on the throttle position.  It has 16" wheels which I will be replacing some day with bigger wheels and the interior is leather with a 6 disk CD changer and the back seats recline which is pretty super cool.

Moving on, Meygen and I love the Jeep a lot and are so relieved that her car isn't going to break on her any more.  So, check out the awesome pics of the Jeep and my beautiful bride!

Cory is the Best Husband Ever!

Cory is the bestest most sweetest kindest.... and all those other good things! He really is the best husband a girl can have. I have been asking for an edible arrangement since I saw the commercial for them on TV... They just look so yummy! So Cory surprised me saturday morning with a bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries from Edible Arrangement. Believe me if you've never had one you need one immediately! I think they were the best thing I've ever tasted!

So while we were at Chersty's game, Elaina was pretty much stuck to Cory's hip. Which is funny because when Cory and I were first dating Elaina wouldn't have anything to do with Cory, she used to hide when he came over! And now look at them I'm almost jealous! 

But they are super cute and it just goes to show what an awesome Dad he will be someday!

 We went to Chersty's soccer game and she is so awesome. Cory and I took the Dustin girls with us and I think that Chersty was very surprised and excited to see us all. It was a little windy and even started to rain once but the girls it red kept it up. It was a lot of fun to watch. Her team is very good! The Dustin girls got a little crazy cheering Chersty on... I think the whole field could hear them.

Easter Eggs!

HAPPY EASTER! 

So we decorated Easter Eggs with our good friends Nick and Katelin and little Reagan came along. Lynette and Mark were out of town so we were making sure Reagan didn't get into to much trouble that weekend. Katelin and Nick had purchased 5 dozen eggs, so needless to say we had a ton. Katelin bought these cool tye dye decorating kits that didn't really look as cool as the package but we tried hard! My favorite part was the sparkles!  I think I enjoyed making all the eggs glitter maybe a little too much. I think that Cory was mad because I kept touching him after touching the eggs so Cory went home covered in glitter! It was fun!

Hollywood Connection!

The night didn't end at Miniature Golf, we then had movies and food and more games!
