2 Month Checkup

Kynnedi is 2 Months!

She had her 2 month checkup today and here are some of her stats:

Weight:  13.56 lbs    92 percentile
  Height: 24.25 in      93 percentile
Head Circumference: 15.7 in   67 percentile

Some fun things about Kynnedi:

She took her shots like a champ.
I think she hated the drinkable vaccination worse than her actual shots.
She is a very good tempered baby, but she does love to be held.
And is much more vocal than Rowynne ever was.
She does this funny scream thing... its not quite crying more just like she wants your attention.
She has beautiful blue eyes... just like her father.
She definitely is a chunk compared to her Big Sis.
I love to make her laugh... (which she does a lot/ seems early for her age)

She is such a great addition to our little family. I can't imagine life without her!

At the Park

January 3, 2012 -

While in San Diego we went to one of the many Parks down by the beach. The girls love playing, Marley always makes a ton of friends, and even Kynnedi got to swing for the first time.

The girls bouncing on what possibly is a whale maybe a plane?

Video of Kynnedi on the swings for her very first time. I think she liked it!

THE ROSE PARADE!!!!

So excited that Rowynne got to see her first big parade... The Parade's in Utah don't really compare to the Rose Parade. We got up super early... which was rough after being up all night, but hey at least we didn't have to sleep on the ground.  All our chairs were already set up by the few who had spent the night outside... so all was ready to go! We waited a few hours before the Parade got to us but when it did we were excited!

The Start of the Parade

Erica and Jillian helping with Rowynne and Marley.
It was great having them with us because I sure made my job a whole lot easier.

Our big group.... Front row seats!

 The Floats:
We even saw Kenny G... LOL

 More Princess's

Can you believe it... Even Power Rangers!

Rowynne like the Dinosaurs... They were Roaring!
Its hard to believe that all the floats are made up of flowers and other types of plants or seed.

Marley and Rowynne showing some love!

Rowynne didn't make it through the whole parade... she was asleep before it was over
poor thing

The American Fork High School Marching Band!
What an honor it is to be chosen to be in the Parade, and to come from so far away!

Video of the Band:

My white trash baby.... Kynnedi of course pooped all over her clothes mid parade. And since all I had brought was fleece pajamas and it was like a 100 degrees out. We let her just hang loose!
Mommy should know better by now to bring extra outfits... I mean this is my second kid!

The Parade was awesome we had tons of fun
Happy New Year!

Rose Parade Eve...

January 1, 2011 -

Another part of the reason we were down in California was to see the Rose Parade! My family used to sleep out on the street when we were younger to see the Rose Parade, I was excited to get to do it with my own family this year. The American Fork Marching Band was going to be in the Parade this year so we were excited to get to be able to see Regan and Chersty march and scream our heads off for them when they passed by.  Since we have little babies this year, Kynnedi was only a couple of months old. I opted out on the sleeping outside and lucky for me we had friends who lived near by and they let us crash on the floor with the babies. As for my Mom and Trey they both stayed and camped outside.

Our little family... Before we called it a night!

Our bonfire! We had such a great spot this year, we have some friends who live up in Pasadena and their family has been camping out and doing the Rose Parade for years too. So this year we teamed up and stayed with them... it was great. We had tons of room the kids ran around on the grass. It was a blast I'm glad that we were able to experience it year. I hope that we will get to do it again.

And then the next morning was the ROSE PARADE!

New Years Eve

December 31, 2011 -
We spent New Year's Eve at my Grandma's we made tacos had lots of snacks even some pie. Watched TV played some games and then it was the New Year. We had noise makers and all kinds of obnoxious things to bring in the New Year. The girls were really into it... I'm not even surprised that they stayed awake.
Marley and Rowynne

Videos of Marley and Rowynne having a bast on my Grandma's dentist chair. I think they would have twirled for hours if we would have let me. Plus I just loved the voice Rowynne was making.. so cute!

Rowynne stuck her hand in a candle and burned it on the hot wax.
So she got some juice and a cup of cold water to soothe her owie!

We had Tiaras for all the Girls!

Hotel Del Cornado

December 31, 2011 -

New Years Eve we were spending at my Grandmas but on the way to her house we took a detour and headed out to Coronado Island to see the Hotel del Coronado all decorated for Christmas before they took it down the next day.

The inside of the Hotel is decorated so beautifully for Christmas. The tree in the lobby is magnificent and so huge. They have so many decorations on it you can barley see the tree.

 Rowynne, Cory, Meygen, and Kynnedi

 Close up of the decorations

The Hotel is so pretty all decorated in lights.. I wish I could stay there some day!

 Cory and Meygen

The gardens around the Hotel have a Dr. Seuss Garden filled with different statues of characters from all of his books. Rowynne is standing with the Grinch, her favorite Christmas movie.

Sorry its blurry.. but I still had to post it because it is so pretty to look at

The Sucker

Since Rowynne had fallen asleep on the last ride at Disneyland and had continued to stay asleep until we left the park she never got to see her sucker that we had gotten to pick out for her. She is a lover of lollipops and Cory and I both thought that it would be a perfect souvenir for her to have. But since she fell asleep we had picked it out without her.. I had wanted her to do it herself but alas she refused to stay awake long enough to do so.
Sad Rowynne
When we arrived back home however she had woken up a little from the transfer from Car to House so we decided to giver it to her then. Obviously it was a bad choice because she was indeed very tired as she wouldn't even smile for a sucker!

We finally got a smile out of her after a little coaxing

The next morning we let her dig in! She loved our choice of sucker!
