The Hogle Zoo

When Cory got his new job we were ecstatic to find out that he wouldn't have to work on the weekends anymore. So to celebrate we went to the Hogle Zoo on saturday as a family. Rowynne loved the animals I think she liked the bird show the best.... even though it was interrupted by weather we still got to see a few birds fly around.  It totally rained for a good portion of the time we were there but I guess that is the good thing about having a Zoo in Utah there are a lot of inside enclosures. So we stuck it out.. Rain and All!

 Watching the Birds fly over the audiences head. Rowynne was totally into it. It was a funny show to watch the birds were really struggling to perform... the guy said it was because of the wind and rain. I think only a couple of birds made it to the right spot before they stopped the show. But we still enjoyed it

We rode the Merry Go Round and the Train. 

Daddy isn't to fond of the Merry go round so Mommy and Rowynne got to do it twice! 

 First ride was a Giraffe... 

 Next we rode the Polar Bear!

 The Giraffe were cool because you can get very close to them inside. Rowynne loved it. 

Then she started pulling Daddy's ears. I guess that is what he gets when he puts her on his shoulders! 

 Rowynne has an Ear! 

 On our trip to the Zoo we figured out that Rowynne likes to try and escape the stroller if she isn't buckled in. This was Cory's solution, she definitely wasn't getting out of that! 

 (it would have been too easy just to use the buckle)!
