Peterson Family Reunion

August 12-13, 2011 - 

    The Peterson Family Reunion had finally arrived.... Cory, Rowynne and I went up on Friday afternoon and slept in the trailer withe the rest of the Ivins clan. It was a bit crowded but everyone had a place to sleep, and the Trailer was super nice this year.  The weekend was fun, it was nice to just hang out with the family.  Rowynne was a dirty mess pretty much 24/7 until we left. All she wanted to do was play in the dirt,  you could tell she was enjoying herself.

 For whatever reason and to Mommy's chagrin.... Rowynne loves the Dog bed. 

Every chance she gets she jumps right in, sometimes even kicking out the puppies so that she can lay down. I find it totally disgusting. Cory has even joked that maybe we should get her her own Dog bed for our house.  Such a weird kid!

Davidson Family Reunion

July 21-22, 2001

   After our trip to San Diego, we all traveled together back to Utah so that we could make it to the Davidson Family Reunion. It was nice to see family that I haven't seen in years. The Davidson's don't see each other every year so when we do its always that much more dramatic because everyone has changed so much.

 The first thing Rowynne did was get out of the car and lick a rock.... Not sure why? 

This was her first real camping trip... I guess she was excited! 

 Our campsite was very cool it had this fun little creek that the kids played in all weekend. 

Plus since the water was so cold we used it as our fridge as well.

Video of Rowynne in her favorite chair.  Rowynne really enjoyed these chairs, they totally weren't ours but she pretty much acted like they were all weekend. 

 Our tent's are in the back. This is the first time that we used our tent that we got when Cory and I got married. We even used the sleeping bags we got for christmas. 

And they all said I couldn't camp... I showed them! 

 Our camp site was right down the road from Porcupine Reservoir, the water was a tiny bit warmer than the creek but as long as you were in the tube it was perfect. Neither of the girls liked being in the water it was too cold, but they loved hanging out on the tubes.

 My mom bought these floaties for the girls... but Rowynne totally dominated them. 

She wanted to wear them pretty much all the time.

La Jolla Shores

July 17, 2011 - 

  A trip to San Diego just wouldn't be the same without a trip to La Jolla Shores with Denise and her whole crew. I was so glad that we were able to be in California the same time as Autumn and her family, it was fun to bbq and play games on the beach just like we used to when we were little.

 Marley was being generous and sharing the sand all over Rowynne's  back. Such a sweet Girl!

 Rowynne and Jack... They played okay but you couldn't leave these two alone for very long. 

They soon would be pushing each other down and trying to grab the others face... or whatever else they could get their hands on. But it was always done with LOVE!

Funny Eyebrows

July 17, 2011 - 

Auntie Gillian thought it would be funny one morning if she colored the girls eye brows in with her makeup pencil. And then the girls decided to draw on their faces with marker to make them look even prettier. 

So we ended up with these two Very Creepy looking children:

San Diego Zoo

July 15, 2010 - 

 While Rowynne and I were visiting in San Diego my Mom took us to the Zoo. I haven't been for so many years, it was fun to go back and see how much has changed.  It was a lot of walking for being 6 months pregnant but I managed pretty well. It was a fun day hanging out with the Girls!

  We watched this acrobatic show and the performers were dressed like frogs.

More Parks....

July 15, 2011 - 

    We went to another park... I don't think Marley had a name for this one because they had never been before. Seriously it feels like there is a park on every corner around here, but its nice when you have little ones to wear out.

Wig Woes

 July 14, 2011 -

   While at my Grandma Kathy's house we pulled out the old toy box from when we were kids and low and behold we found the dress up wigs . We put the wigs on each of the girls and well needless to say neither one of them was very happy about it. But us grown up enjoyed a good laugh!
