THE TABLE... FINALLY!

I know that you all have been patiently waiting for when we will start inviting you all over to our apartment. Well now that our apartment furniture is complete, you are all invited. We were lucky to get this table for Christmas from Cory's parents and thankfully it looks great in the apartment. Lynette looked high and low for the table of our dreams and boy did she do a good job.  Thanks Again!

 Merry Christmas to the Ivins!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

On Christmas I got one of the famous hand stitched Ivins stockings, so that was a cool surprise! It was filled with goodies from Santa which I very much appreciated.

My Mom and Family in Cali sent Cory and I some awesome stuff. One of which was this amazingly beautiful Willow Tree Nativity. It is so pretty and it will be the first nativity that Cory and I have owned together.
It was fun opening presents with Cory, mine were all super surprises. I'm not sure if Cory was surprised since he got pretty much everything that he asked for. But he was still super excited for it all. This was our little after Christmas pile. I got a GPS, a watch set, and lots of gift  cards. Cory got a bluetooth, watch, slippers, coat, and FAT MAN SWEATS! lol (inside joke) Overall it was a pretty good Christmas!
This is CORY swimming in all our Christmas day trash, also while modeling all of his new stuff! Lets just say he enjoyed his modeling session maybe a little too much! LOL!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE IVINS FAMILY!

Our First Christmas Together 2008

Our first Christmas was awesome! So awesome in fact that everyone wanted us to remember it. Here is a picture of all of the "Our first Christmas together, 2008" ornaments! Thanks Family!

The Gingerbread House!

We made GINGERBREAD HOUSES with Mike and Ally to celebrate the Holiday Season. It was a lot of fun. We used a pre-made house but hey decorating is the best part. Our house looked pretty cool!

December Music Madness!

So this December Cory and I got to go see some super Christmas Musical Programs. We went to the Musical Program at the Conference Center which was with MOTAB and Brian Mitchell Stokes. It was so awesome the singing and the Christmas stories were amazing. We are thankful to Cory's parents for giving us the tickets because the concert is such a big hit every year that they give the tickets away by using a raffle.

We also got to go see PLAID TIDINGS! Which is the musical sequel to FOREVER PLAID! Now this show I had to sort of talk Cory into. He had never seen the first one so he wasn't really up to speed on the whole background story. However all throughout the show I think he was laughing the loudest. Turns out Cory LOVED the show, and we even contemplated going a second time. If you have never seen this show really you must because it is so funny and yet still gets you in the Christmas spirit with all the awesome music.

My Mom was totally jealous that we got to go and she didn't. I guess that's one good thing about Utah cause everything is cheaper here, even Christmas Musicals!

Flubber or Jello?

So, I must say, this is the best Jello ever!  Mom had us over for dinner and she had a little surprise for us!  She made Jello Christmas trees.  They were oh so good, and also oh so jiggley!  Thanks mom!

A Grand Night out at Sizzlers!

So yeah, we went to Sizzlers, the food was good and all but there were a couple surprises.   First, the salad bar was a little disappointing but still good.  The second surprise was the endless shrimp...  Lets just say that once you were done with your first plate, the second will ruin your hopes for "endless" shrimp.  Yes, it was sad, but i'll tell you one thing, you can never get enough soda, they came over time and again, and we took care of it.  No Worries.  mmmmmm....

Yeah, so those are the first and "second" dishes of Shrimp... kinda sad.
Yep, we're boozers!
