Happy Halloween

October 31, 2010 -

Happy Halloween - Rowynne's first halloween was a wet one. It rained and rained all day, I hoped that it would stop for trick or treating with Kylie, but it seemed like it got harder. Kylie invited us to go with her, she was Dorothy and Rowynne went as an Elephant. It was fun, I'm sure she had no idea why we were walking around in the rain, but it was fun nonetheless. Cory brought along the patio Umbrella so we could all fit under.... but still we all go soaked. We were glad when it was over and we could all go back into the nice warm house and pass out candy for the other crazy kids who braved the rain. Since Rowynne is still a little young to appreciate the full value of candy, we did let her taste a little bit of a laffy taffy. Her first halloween candy!

Happy Halloween Photo Shoot #2

October 29, 2010 -

Aunt Robyn had a great idea for a photo... put Rowynne in a Pumpkin. So thats what we did. We took some inside and outside. These will be coming out every fall!  These are some of my favorites!

Happy Halloween Photo Shoot #1

So we actually took these pictures while we were in California. My mom wanted some pictures of both Rowynne and Marley in there costumes. However when we got there Marley had a different idea of what was going down. Marley was a very unhappy baby when we were trying to take pictures, so most of her pictures came out with a angry/sad face. Sorry Nana we tried! But we did get some great shots of Rowynne.... she is such a photogenic girl. I love this face!

I love this picture the most. I love it when you can play with the colors and styles. I love photo shop!

Even though Marley hated it we still got some cute pictures, just not of them together. We will have to try again next year.

More Pumpkin Carving.... With the Ivins Family

October 25, 2010 -

Cory's family usually has a Halloween pumpkin carving night, this year we had it for family night on Monday. Cory had class so he wasn't able to come but we sure did miss him. We dressed up Rowynne in her halloween costume for the party.... So cute!

Pumpkin Carving!

October 24, 2010 -

Happy Halloween!
Since Cory rarely has any free time lately with school and work, we decided to have a late night Pumpkin Carve. Even Rowynne got a pumpkin, it was super little. I don't really think Rowynne had any idea what was going on she had more fun playing on the ground with all the extra news paper, while the parents carved!
But still its a good family tradition to start.

Our pumpkin guts...... gross!

 Cory striking a pose!

Mommy Pumpkin, Daddy Pumpkin, and Baby Pumpkin!

Our finished product!
Mine was a Owl sitting on a tree and Cory did faces for Him and Rowynne.

A Baby-Sitter!

My one complaint with blogger is that it is the worst at uploading video that's longer than 10 seconds, so I had to upload it to youtube.  After you check out the pictures of our little princess wearing here head gear and sitting up, click HERE to watch her in all her sitting glory!

Fork Fest

October 16, 2010  -

Fork Fest.... its this new thing that they were doing 37 local bands played all day. It was a lot of fun. Jared's band Dandelyon played so we had to go and watch. It was super hot out, but still fun to just chill and listen to the music. Rowynne wasn't too fond of the loud stuff, but once we sat a little farther away she was much more open to the music.

Some people at Fork Fest were very into the theme. I don't know if you can see it very well but he is carrying and Pitch Fork. Way to funny... people are crazy!

We went to another Band competition, this time at BYU. It was fun to watch and support the kids but it was super cold. Thanks goodness that Rowynne was warm from all the snuggles she was getting.
