RB vs Poway

RB Vs Poway it's sort of a big deal. These are the big rival schools for our High Schools. So we went to give Tarren some support in his basketball game. The whole family was there, Grandma, and even Aunt Toy and Brandy. However I think Cory and I are bad luck for Rancho Bernardo Broncos, because both games we went to they lost. Sorry about that Tarren. But Tarren played awesome and it was great to see him out there, he is way better than I was in high school. But then again he is 8 inches taller than me so I'm sure that helps.

Tarren is number 40... He is standing there just waiting to score some points.

Okay so this is the whole Crew!

POWAYS GOING DOWN!

Horse Shoes, Worlds, and Kites......

At Seaport Village they had these really cool sculptures and different cool things. All around the whole area where these different Worlds, each had a theme on how to save the Earth. Some of the worlds were about saving energy and eating organic food. They were all really cool. Our favorite was this big world that was covered in yarn, it was about saving energy through heating, instead just wear a SWEATER! LoL!

Us in front of the horse shoes... Again I have no idea what it was for. But Cory really like it and demanded that we get a picture with it. So we did. :)

Here are some of the big Earth balls that lined Seaport village. They were everywhere!

Cory and I in front of another Earth Ball! I can't remember what this one's theme was.

Trey and Tarren decided to fly the little girls kites. It was sort of funny these big giant people playing with little fairy kites. But it was fun to watch. Tarren kept trying to get his fairy stuck in a tree, but Malia was glad that he didn't succeed.

Picnic at Seaport Village

Hats, Hats, and More Hats!

One of the fun shops at Seaport Village was this really cool hat store. Cory has been trying to make me buy a hat ever since we got married. He wants me to be a hat girl, but I just can't do it. So Cory had this swell idea that he would find me a hat, needless to say with Trey and Tarren around Cory got a little sidetracked!

Everyone else found a hat except for ME!

Marley didn't really enjoy her hat as you can tell! Poor Thing!

Tarren found a hat that looked like a Hot Dog!

Cory in his silly hat... he enjoyed this store a little too much!

Trey wants to be an astronaut

Seaport Village

While in San Diego we went to Seaport Village, which is this little shopping center right down by the bay. They have a huge park so we decided to have some fun looking at the shops and the scenery as always. We had a picnic, rode the ferris wheel (except for Cory, it makes him sick), and we even ended the day with Carmel Apples. What could be better.

I'm not really sure what this big sculpture was for,
but we decided to take a picture in front of it anyways.

I think I enjoyed that thing a little too much. LOL!

Mexican Train

Mexican Train was this game that my family taught Cory and I while we were in San Diego. It's this crazy way of playing dominoes. It was a lot of fun. However it does last quite a while, so don't ever start the Mexican Train unless you have plenty of time to finish the dance! LOL!
After two or three nights in a row of playing Mexican Train till 12 PM, Cory and I were sort of done with the Train dance.
But it was still crazy fun.... I think the last few times Gillian and I were cheating and trying to see if any one noticed. They didn't!

Mom was trying to look grumpy in this picture, because I just blocked her from playing her set. Which totally is a low blow in this game.... Sorry Mom!

We made mom take it again....
A little better this time. I think she is still a little mad at me about that play!
I play dirty what can I say!

Call of Duty

This is pretty much what Tarren looked like throughout our San Diego trip. He was playing Call of Duty which he uses a microphone to talk to other people playing the same game. So most of the time Tarren would be talking to his friends in the game when I always thought he was talking to me. I would be having conversations with Tarren and have no idea he wasn't talking to me but some kid miles away. Pretty Sad!

I don't think he should be allowed to play a game in the family room.... It's terribly confusing!

Love You Tarren!

Newport Beach Temple

Cory and I did a drive by of the Newport Beach Temple. It was really late and super dark but I think that's when the Temples' look the best.... All lit up! It really is a beautiful Temple, we didn't stay long but we got some great pictures.

Toll Due....1 Dollar

So this blog is for my wonderful Mother who sometimes needs some brain help like the rest of us. So when Cory and I went to Orange County with my Mom, we encountered a few toll roads along the way.

So while we were going through one of these particular toll roads my Mom was having a hard time figuring out what the toll was. I think we sat at that toll road for at least 5 minutes which at the time seemed forever. I'm just glad that it was late enough that we didn't have a row of cars waiting behind us. So while my Mom stared at the toll both, she just kept saying it dosen't say how much the toll is. And if you are familiar with a toll road, a lot of them are exact change. So my mom didn't want to put too much money in there cause well she wouldn't get it back.

My mom ultimately decided that she would take a picture of the toll sign just in case a cop pulled us over so that she could prove that the toll didn't have a price. Look closley......maybe you can see what my mother couldn't?  LOL! We all got a good laugh at that!

Can you see it?
LOL!

Love you Mom!

Cabrillo Point

Trey was cold walking around in the light house.
Behind him is a giant replica of the actual light that used to be in the light house.

San Diego is such a beautiful place!

More Tide Pools!

Okay so I had to add something to Cory's blog he did about the tide pools. We obviously went with my family and my sister brought the two little girls she babysits..Malia and Ally! And well I guess the point of me adding this is we all found out just how much little Malia HATES SAND! I guess if you hate sand it would be pretty hard to enjoy the tide pools. Even though I'm sure to her we were all totally torturing her if was sort of funny in a sad sort of way! lol! Sorry Malia!

This is Malia sitting on a rock. It was pretty much the only way she wouldn't scream!
She sat on that rock for most of the time we were there. Poor Thing!

Tide Pools and Gooey Monsters!

So sorry to still be blogging about California even though we've been back for quite some time now, but you know how it is... you get busy when you get home!  So one of our many adventures was going to the tide pools!  This was alot of fun, and everything was so beautiful!  There was a lot of life there and the easiest to find were the hermit crabs and the anemone, they were so cool!  The anemone were a bit creepy because if you put your finger in them, they would try to suck you in and eat you, and they were so strong that if you let it suck long enough, you wouldn't be able to pull you back out at all!   It was nuts.  The hermit crabs were a ton of fun too!  They were everywhere and you could pick them up and play with them as much as you wanted!  The kids got a little jumpy when they would crawl out of their shells, but it was really fun.

Me and Meygen and Marley.
Meygen carried around Marley in that thing everywhere we went!

Cheese Cake Factory......Yum Yum!

In California we went to the cheesecake factory, Mom and Grandma both had gift cards, so we all went together. It was a blast, I don't think any of us had been before it was a lot of fun. I'm not sure if the restaurant thought we were funny because Tarren and the rest of the table were a little loud. But we did enjoy ourselves.

Cory and I

Tarren's big hand kept getting in our pictures. And somehow his hand is so big that it just perfectly covered my face. We were laughing for quite a while after that. Thanks Tarren!

Just some brotherly sisterly bonding. And then Cory! lol!

Tarren was trying to cover up his own face with his big hand.

Even Grandma was being crazy....as you can see from this photo! LOL! Love you Grams!

Oh and Yes the Cheesecake is freaking awesome! Can't wait till Cory and I go again!

BATH TIME

I have to say I enjoyed very much having Gillian and Marley stay at the house while we were there. It meant that I got more moments with Marley like this one.....Bath Time! It was Marley and I's first bath together and I must say that I did a very good job seeing how she didn't cry the whole time. What can I say I'm just the best bath time Aunt ever!

Aunt Meygen and Marley just takin a bath!

I had so much fun being able to share these moments with my new little niece.
It was some of the best times I have had in a while.
Miss you Marley!

Gillian and Marley

Gillian and Marley stayed over at Mom's house the first few days we were in California. It was nice because I got to be Mommy to Marley for a few days with baths and changing. This was one of the mornings they were with us.

Aren't they cute, they totally sleep alike. I guess Marley really is just like her Mom.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Marley Can Sleep Anywhere!

So before we left AZ we all stopped at Subway for a little lunch. However, Trey noticed the Taco Bell next store and quickly abandoned  the idea of Subway. Trey even decided not to sit with the rest of us  crazy's eating Subway. Marley too was not interested in Subway and after her bottle of milk she was apparently too tired to wait to get back in the car so she fell asleep in my hand. It was quite hilarious.

This is Trey eating his Taco Bell in Subway without the rest of us.

Marley fast asleep!

Marley was having good dreams!

And she was drooling all over my hands. But she is so cute that I totally didn't care! lol!
