Cabrillo Point

We visited Cabrillo Point after we enjoyed the tide pools. In 1542, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo was the first European to set foot in what is now know as San Diego Bay. At Cabrillo Point we visited the monument, walked around the museum, and most of all just enjoyed the view. It really was an amazing site. It was a lot of fun and the weather was so beautiful that we had a picnic out by the lighthouse.  There is this old Light House at the tip of the point, and you can even go inside. We walked all the way to the top!

Behind him is a giant replica of the actual light that used to be in the light house.
