Sea World 09'

While we were in San Diego, Cory insisted that we go to Sea World. He hasn't been since he was 5. So he was super excited that I talked the whole family into coming along with us. My family used to go every year for my Mom's Children's Choir, we sing and all get in free. But it had been quite a few years since we had all been together, plus it was fun to take Marley for the first time!
Wild Artic.... Super cold. The walrus was funny and gross. It kept spitting it's food out of it's mouth and then sucking it back in. Super gross he was playing with his food. I swear every time I go to Sea World that walrus is doing something weird.
Touching the icy wall. Very cold and slippery!
Meygen and Marley.... and you can almost see the Polar Bear in the background

Cory and I sitting in the Pet Show. Sea World has saved hundreds of house cats and dogs, and they train them to be part of the show. It was a fun day to watch the show, all of the animals didn't seem to want to perform that day. We had a couple that just sat there and didn't want to do the tricks, it took a few tries but eventually they came around.
This amazingly was the best picture we could get. I swear these boys do it on purpose.
After the Dolphin Show, where Cory thought the lady who falls in the water was real.
She is actually one of the Dolphin trainers. Gullible Cory!
We fed the seals... they were so loud and scary!
Cory, Meygen, Tarren, Marley, and Trey
Watching the Seals fight for fish!
Marley liked the eels.... Grosss!
Touching the Sting Rays. This is my favorite thing, they feel so slimy. Plus if you feed them it is scary because they almost suck your hand into there mouth. But I was brave!
Feeding the Sting Rays.... Cory wanted to feed everything!
Starfish
Meygen and Marley
Cory and Meygen.... behind us is the big sea turtles. And they were actually moving around. Whenever I see them they just sit there, but this time they were all over the place, it looked like they would get stuck in the sand!

Sea World was a lot of fun I'm glad Cory talked us all into going. Good family memories!
