Poop and cake UNITE!!!

My wife is an amazing cook and my roundness can attest to that truth.  Her enchiladas are to die for, her lettuce wraps taste like they're right out of PF Changs, and she makes some mean croissants if you ask me, so when she makes something new I get very, very excited!
Last night, Megs and I had the night to ourselves so we played some rousing Mario Cart battles against one another in which she totally whomped me Pwnd with a capitol P.  All the while, Megs had a Crock Pot chocolate pudding cake in, cooking to perfection.  The whole house smelled so good you have no idea and my mouth was watering like a big fat St. Bernard's.  Boy was I stoked for this cake!
The cook book said the cake was supposed to look like this:

But unfortunately, something happened during the "crock pot experience" that made the yummy pudding cake still yummy but a little. . .

 misshapen. . .

Regardless of how it looked, it was sinfully tasty with a side of cake batter ice cream.  Mmmmmmmmmm. . .
Again, Meygen has proven herself as a wonderful cook who can make even wood splinters taste like peppermint and frog legs taste like the greatest hot wings ever.
Um... the end.

Cory

Nope, she's not prego, but c'mon! Pickles and Ice cream? Seriously!

So the other day, Megs and I had the wonderful chance to take care of my siblings while my mother and father were out on their billionth anniversary.  We'd had dinner at the Price's home but Megs didn't eat a thing.  She said she wasn't in the mood or not hungry or something to that effect.  I did my best to get her to eat, but she wouldn't.
Back at the house, we were all talking and hanging out when she found a jar of pickles.  I guess they sounded good, because that was all she would eat!  I offered dish after dish and she didn't want it, but pickles just sounded so yummy to her (I know, it makes no sense at all).  So while she nibbled away, I went to the freezer and got myself a sorbet (you know, the kind you get at costco in which the bowl is the actual fruit.  If you've never had it, I highly recommend it!)  So I got Meygen a coconut sorbet for her desert, and she loved it as much as I loved my pineapple one, but within minutes, she was down for the count.  She was so down that I took her back to the apartment to rest while I took care of the kids at my parents house.
What's the good part about this whole event?  Meygen finally got a good night's rest after some long days of hard work, and no, Meygen is not pregnant even though Pickles and Ice Cream are quite an odd couple when you're hungry.  If it were me, I'd just opt for some Tide or gummy bear covered pizza or something... *wink*

All peanuts are created equal and have the right to live inside chocolate.

The other day, my friend Katelin from work bought some M&M's from the M&M machine.  As she turned the knob, the faint "klink, klink, klink," was heard from the bottom tray and out popped three small candies... three.  That's it.  We had a good laugh and then it was my turn.  I put in my 25 cents but instead of simply turning the knob, I asked Katelin if she would shake the machine as I twisted.  Needless to say that I was delighted to discover a great amount of sweets flowing from the mouth of the machine.  Poor Katelin, she never had a chance...
The Machine (more generous my bum)!

The fruit of my efforts compared to Katelin's measly twist.

Now, this post has no intention of demeaning Katelin.  She is far smarter and quicker than I am, but it was really funny when she only pulled out a few of those yummy treats!

This one's for Kyle in Germany

So Kyle, our long lost brother who currently resides in the far away land we like to call "Doych-Land," has requested that we post some videos of our circus puppies because he misses them oh so much (probably more than he misses his family, ha ha).  This is what he said:

So I just went to your blog and saw the nerf war.  It was cool to see a long video of the backyard and Regan and Chersty, and your wife.  But I noticed that the puppies were in the background.  If you could somehow get a video of the puppies battling it out, or just the puppies playing or doing something adorable, and then put it in the blog, I would pee myself with excitement.  Seriously, ha ha, I love the puppies, and the family too, but I hear from them through E-mail.  However, due to the puppies not having opposable thumbs, they aren't capable of writing me E-mails.  So anyway, if the opportunity arises, I would be overjoyed!

Here are your videos Kyle.  We tried to get them to duke it out like the ninja puppies they are, but they just weren't really in the mood I guess.

Well, there you have it, our puppies are nuts.  Come to think of it, they're not really puppies any more, they're a couple of years old now.

Peace out and good work Kyle!

Shoot em up!

Well, this Sunday was my brother Regan's 15th birthday!  Hip hip for him!  He got a new drum set and a bunch of percussion stuff.  Meygen and I though he was getting enough percussion stuff for such a fun day so, we decided to get him some guns (Nerf guns that is)...

So Regan and Chersty played for a while and then Regan wanted to play Nerf Tag with me, so I did, and I basically got my hiney kicked.

Peace out:    Cory

Phone Numbers Please!

So if you read our blog then you probably are a close friend or family member. So then you all should know that I lost my phone last week and had to buy a new one. And well unfortunately for me that means I lost all my contacts and well my brain only has a few numbers memorized. So please send me your numbers with names attached. So I can include you all on my call list.

Thanks - Meygen

Cory's Birthday....The Big 23!

So Cory's birthday was this week... September 11th to be exact. Let's just say it was a great day. It started quite early around 4:30 AM when I woke Cory up to his very first breakfast cereal, presents, and a big big big balloon. Cory was also surprised to find that I even got up to make him breakfast before he was out the door.  I think that will only happen once a year....IT'S WAY EARLY!  Cory's Big present was the Wii... that's all he has mentioned for about 2 months prior to his big day. I kept telling him it wasn't gonna happen but,  he got his wish. His parents also got him a surround sound system for the living room. And well Cory had to be dragged away late thursday night after he set everything up and wanted to play.

It was an awesome and fun day despite the tiredness..... but well we are still playing the Wii so it has been a birthday present well bought!

Love You Cory! Happy Birthday!
