Bear Lake... The Beach

September 4, 2010 - 

The entire Ivins clan made the trek up to Bear Lake for a Ivins Family Reunion over labor day weekend. It was worth the 3 hour trip, it was a blast. I have never been to Bear Lake before, Cory has a few times before with his family, I hope that we will get to go every year. The weather was beautiful, and the company was great. We spent saturday up at the beach, it was a little windy but so much fun. In Meygen style I finished an entire book on the beach, Rowynne dipped her feet in, and the Boys spent most of the time building sand castles and snorkeling. 

The water was so beautiful, it almost tricked me into thinking that I was in sunny San Diego.  Almost!

New Outfits

One of the best things about Girls is the... CLOTHES! I love dressing up Rowynne whenever we go out. She has so many cute things, almost too many for one baby to wear. She is getting so big we have moved up to the 3-6 month clothes in her closet, so we got to try on a few new outfits this week.

Peterson Reunion

August 13-14, 2010 - 

Summer means the Peterson Family Reunion - this year it was up at Strawberry Reservoir. Cory's parents rented a RV so we all got to sleep in it together. I was a little worried about how Rowynne would do, I didn't want her keeping everyone else up. But she surprised us all and did great. I think she enjoyed her first camping trip. It was nice to meet up with the Peterson gang, we don't get to see them all very often especially since every year we keep getting bigger. We had a blast and can't wait to go again next year.

The Jumper

August 13, 2010 - 

Rowynne loves her jumper, at first I thought she was still a little too small for it since her feet barley touch the floor. But I guess she thought it was enough, as soon as I put her in it she was jumping away. Plus she loves her frog friend. Most of the time she is in the jumper she looks up and smilies and talks to the frog. Its so cute to watch. 

The Crib

August 12, 2010 -  

Rowynne finally slept in her CRIB! 

We put away the Porta-Crib that has been in our room the last three months, its gone for good. Her first night she did great... we had a few nights that weren't as good as that first one. But she has been sleeping through the night for the past month... it has been great. Getting more that a few hours of uninterrupted sleep has been great. I never thought I would be more happy to just sleep.

Her new mobile has helped, she loves to look up and watch it twirl.  We just lay her in the bed and the mobile does the rest. She can't help but fall asleep. She is growing up way to fast!
